STEPANAKERT. - A geological exploration is underway in the new mining site of Nagorno-Karabakh.   

Economy Minister of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR), Andranik Khachatryan, told the aforementioned to Armenian News – NEWS.am.  

The current exploiting company, Gold Star CJSC, is carrying out supplementary exploitation on the ground to ascertain the data received in the Soviet period. “This requires a long process; the exploration is still underway. When it is completed, they will develop an investment program,” the Minister noted.   

Earlier, the company carried out exploration in one of the ore mines of Karabakh but later need rose to ascertain the received data.
