The number of people, who were detained in Turkey on suspicion having ties to the Islamic State (IS) has reached several hundreds, the Turkish media outlets report.
As Anadolu news agency reported earlier, most of the 60 detainees are foreigners. The anti-terrorist operation was carried out in the city of Şanlıurfa in Turkey’s southeast, where about 150 people were detained, as well as the cities of Adana, Konya, Çorum , Elâzığ, Bursa, etc.
