U.S. President Donald Trump held a phone conversation with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg during which he agreed to take part in the meeting of the NATO leaders, Reuters reported quoting the White House.
“President Trump agreed to join in a meeting of NATO leaders in Europe in May,” the White House said in a statement.
Trump and Stoltenberg also discussed the possibility of a peaceful resolution of the conflict in Ukraine.
