Bundestag member Cem Ozdemir spoke about the recent tension between Ankara and Berli, ARD reported.

Ozdemir,  who is also Co-Chairman of the German political party Alliance ‘90/The Greens and supporter of the Armenian Genocide resolution, criticized the illogical response of the Turkish side to the ban of German local authorities on rallies and meetings with Turkish community in Germany.

Ozdemir noted that if the Turkish side wanted to conduct a campaign in Germany they were simply obliged to respect laws of this country. He added that if Ankara ensured his safety, he was also ready to hold rally on Istanbul's Taksim Square.
