Malta's Prime Minister Joseph Muscat said his Labour Party claimed victory in early elections.
Official results will be released on Monday, BBC reported.
The elections were called a month ago when prime minister’s wife appeared to be involved in the corruption scandal.
According to one of the famous bloggers in Malta, an offshore company owned bt Muscat's wife was getting payments from the clan of Aliyev, president of Azerbaijan.
