The UK general election has ended.

Exit poll results show the Conservatives ahead, but they are losing absolute majority in Parliament, reported the BBC.

According to an exit poll conducted jointly by the BBC, ITV and Sky news agencies, the Conservative Party is set to win 314 House of Commons seats, which is 17 less than what they had in the previous parliament.

The Labour Party is predicted to get 266 seats, which is 34 more than in the previous House of Commons, and the Liberal Democrats are expected to win 14 seats.
