Failure  of the  Conservatives at the UK parliamentary elections can cost Theresa May her PM post. In spite of the fact that Tories win elections, they can get enough MPs to form a majority.

According to the BBC forecasts, the Tories are set to get 319 seats, Labour 261, the SNP 35 and the Lib Dems 12. To get an overall majority, one party needs to get 326 seats.

Theresa May is refusing to quit as Prime Minister despite her disastrous election night as the UK voted for a hung parliament.

Jeremy Corbyn, the Labour leader, has urged Mrs May to resign as he said she should "go and make way for a government that is truly representative of this country". 

He also claimed it is "pretty clear who won this election" and that "the party that has lost in this election is the Conservative Party".
