YEREVAN. – More than 127,000 global birdwatchings were recorded in 2011 within the framework of the “Spring Alive” campaign, and 1,272 of them were in Armenia, which enabled the country to be among the top ten. 

The cold February of the current year, however, had postponed the start of “Spring Alive.” “But now it is spring; watch the birds and post your first watching on “Spring Alive” campaign’s website at www.springalive.net, the Armenian Society for the Protection of Birds representative told Armenian News-NEWS.am.
