Lebanon on November 9 extradited a man alleged to be a relative of Saddam Hussein to Iraq, where he is accused of involvement in the massacre committed by ISIS, Al Arabia reported, citing security sources.

Iraqi media describe Abdullah Sabawi, born in 1994, as Saddam Hussein's grandnephew. He is accused of being a member of ISIS and participating in the 2014 Speicher massacre, in which the extremist group executed up to 1,700 air force cadets. He was detained on June 11 at the request of Interpol. Iraq has since requested his extradition.

Sabawi's family denies the charges. According to his relatives, he was in Yemen at the time of the Speicher massacre.
