March 23, a man stabbed eight children to death and injured five others at Experimental Primary School in Nanping City, eastern China.
The incident occurred at 7:20 a.m. at the entrance of school, when the children were coming to classes, Xinhua agency reports referring to local law enforcement agencies.
The attacker, a former community doctor, who worked at Mazhan clinic before resigning, was detained by the police.
