The stolen structure of world-known Tombi cat has been found in Istanbul.  According to Anadoulu, the people who stole the cat’s sculpture brought it back and left it in the same street. The Municipality has turned to specialists for restoring the sculpture.

After the death of Tombi cat, the local residents began gathering signatures on the Internet, demanding the Municipality to set up a monument to their beloved cat. The Municipality took into account that fact and set up a sculpture in the place where the cat liked to sit, resting on the pavement. However, the monument was stolen a month after its installation.
