On September 25, 2009 RA National Security Council Secretary Artur Baghdasaryan received RF Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Armenia Vyacheslav Kovalenko, NSC Secretary Press Service informed NEWS.am.

The officials emphasized the high level of Armenian-Russian relations, while Baghdasaryan noted Armenia and Russia being strategic counterparts cooperate actively in different fields. There is also a close cooperation between the National Security Councils of the two countries.

The parties concur in the necessity to advance collaboration in security, economy, education and culture realms.
