Baku is ready to continue negotiations with Armenia on Karabakh issue for the sake of stability and security in the South Caucasus and outside it, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov stated at the 64th Session of UN General Assembly.
The Minister underlined that the current negotiation process infuses hope on the conflict settlement. Mammadyarov considers a good basis Armenia’s adoption of the joint declaration of Azerbaijan, Armenia and Russia in November 2008. Thus, Armenia recognized phase-by-phase solution to the conflict based on the norms and principles of the international law.
Today OSCE Co-Chairs issued a statement, calling on the sides “to be constructive in their public statements.”
