The revised version of Madrid principles on Karabakh peace process is completed, but will not be presented to the sides yet, OSCE MG Russian Co-Chair Yuri Merzlyakov exclusively told NEWS.am, September 29.

Merzlyakov refuted the information of Azeri media that the revised version of the document will be presented during the forthcoming visit of OSCE MG Co-Chairs to the region. “The revised version of Madrid principles will be presented when we decide to do so,” he stated, adding that the Co-Chairs will arrive in the region this week.

“The definite visit date has been set, but it is not necessary that you know of it,” Russian Co-Chair noted. He also refused to name the Armenian and Azerbaijani Presidents meeting in Chisinau, but suggested to refer to RA Presidential Administration for details.

However, the Personal Representative of the OSCE CiO Andrzej Kasprzyk said today that the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs’ visit to the region is scheduled for October 1.
