ALEPPO. – There are no Armenians among the civilians who died and were injured as a result of a makeshift rocket attack in Aleppo’s al-Azizia district, Press Secretary Jirair Reisian of the National Primacy of Aleppo of the Armenian Apostolic Church told Armenian News-NEWS.am.     

In his words, the rebels, together with snipers, became more active on Friday in the area which is far from the city’s Armenian neighborhoods.    

To note, military servicemen in Aleppo attacked an armed terrorist group and, as a result, the rebels suffered considerable losses, including an Azerbaijani citizen by the name of Hasin Qazli. This is the first official information on Azerbaijani guerillas’ participation in the armed operations against Syria’s government and civilians, including Armenians.
