The World Trade Organization (WTO) is close to signing of a new global trade deal, The Financial Times reported.

The agreement envisages tackling bureaucratic barriers at borders and relaxation of international turnover procedures. This can add $1tn to the annual global trade, the newspaper writes.  

The finished draft of the agreement may be available by the end of this week.

Armenia has been a member of WTO since 5 February 2003.
