Poland’s Prime minister Beata Szydło who got into a car accident in Auschwitz on Friday, did not suffer serious   injuries, Government spokesman Rafal Bochenek stated at a briefing.

According to him, Szydło was in “good condition” but had been transported 350km by helicopter to a government hospital in Warsaw for further monitoring and tests, TASS reported.

He also added that Poland’s Prime minister felt good and could carry out her duties of the head of the government.

The accident happened in Auschwitz, when a car crashed into the convoy of several cars from the secondary road. The Polish Prime Minister is taken to the hospital for examination.
