ISTANBUL. – Mehmet Eymur, former Chief of the Counter-Terrorism Department of the Turkey’s National Intelligence Organization, was taken under custody along the lines of some serial killings, Milliyet daily of Turkey writes.   

To note, Eymur had taken part in operations against ASALA (Armenian Secret Army for the Liberation of Armenia), and after leaving the intelligence system, he had gone to US. He had moved to Istanbul recently and was working as an advisor to a Turkish businessman.
