YEREVAN. – About 46 million pregnancy cases out of 210 million worldwide end with induced abortion. Averagely 67,900 fatal cases from induced abortion are registered annually, World Health Organization experts say.
According to studies, many women prefer abortion through pills, as it is highly safe and controllable by women. To note, nearly half of all abortions worldwide are unsafe procedures and almost all unsafe abortions occur in the developing world.
