President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko has accused Poland, the Czech Republic, Lithuania and Ukraine of interfering in the domestic affairs of Belarus and manipulating the protests, BELTA reports.

“These countries interfered in the domestic affairs of Belarus and manipulated the protests. Yesterday we heard the statement by Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov. Generally, he is restraint and precautious when it comes to such issues, but he declared that the Russian Federation responds to any negative action against Belarus and that it is important for Russia to disallow outbreaks in Minsk,” Lukashenko said.

During a meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus Vladimir Makey yesterday, Lavrov said ‘nearly 200 extremists were guided towards Belarus from Ukrainian territories’.

Lukashenko declared that Belarus will never come to grips with the hanging of Polish national flags in Grodno. “Poland sees that there are Poles living in Belarus, but they are Belarusian Poles. We Belarusians have lived in solidarity with them, but we won’t let Polish flags be hung in Grodno. Nobody will allow the collapse of Belarus,” Lukashenko said, talking about the relations between Poland and Belarus.

In addition, Lukashenko suggested that Lithuania mind its own business and stated that Minsk has good relations with Vilnius.
